The Worst of Evil (2023)

In 1990s Seoul, a former DJ gains control of a potent new drug known as “Gangnam Crystal” and starts distributing it in the city’s nightclubs through his ties with a powerful gang. With limited knowledge about the drug’s origins, the police launch an operation to dismantle the drug trafficking network. To infiltrate the organization, rural police officer Park Jun Mu is assigned to go undercover, only to discover a shocking twist—his wife, Detective Yoo Eui Jung, has volunteered for the same perilous mission and appears to have a mysterious history with the ruthless drug lord. As Jun Mu becomes deeply entangled in the drug-related operation, he not only battles the drug cartel with unwavering determination but also strives to ensure his wife’s safety throughout the perilous mission.
